As well as offering it at our school and at Pilgrim Primary School, we ventured further afield to Berri Primary School to ensure that this important government state-wide initiative was accessible to students living in country locations.
We also connected with OSHC centre in Berri to bring languages to a wider audience. This offered the students at these centres the opportunity to learn a language as part of their vacation school program, enriching their experience in the school holidays.
Each day, a total of 154 students participated in 3 different hands-on activities in a range of languages including Arabic, Auslan, Chinese, French, Italian, Nepali, Spanish.
