Our Year 11/12 Korean students have continued to improve their language skills and make new friends with students from Gimhae Foreign Language High School and Miryang High School in South Korea through our Global Class Connections program (previously known as sister-schools). Students are in regular contact through online Teams meetings; sharing stories, photos, and videos about their daily life in each country.

A popular activity this term has been the preparation and exchange of Cultural Mystery boxes. Our students treated their South Korean friends to a range of Australian delights such as Vegemite and Tim Tams which they will sample in the next Teams meeting!

We are also looking forward to receiving culture boxes from our Korean friends and talking about the Korean delicacies in term 4.

Many thanks to Parky Anderson, one of our highly expert Korean teachers for her tireless efforts and commitment in organizing these valuable and engaging learning experiences for her students. They take learning Korean beyond the 4 walls of the Australian classroom into an authentic Korean setting!
